Theodora Golf Club is an exceptional golfing experience, with unique courses designed by specialists who only had in their minds and souls your passion for golf. Here you can send the ball on the longest course in Europe: a magnificent 735 m long par 6. Play your ball on 56 ha with 6518m of golf course, with 18 holes (4 course par 3, 10 courses par 4, 3 courses par 5 and 1 course par 6).

For training and warm-up, we provide an outdoor driving range, with 20 seats available throughout the game season. And, along the 18 courses, you will accept the pleasant challenges of the game: putting green areas, chipping areas, sand bunkers and even water hazards, because we have included in the landscape a 5 ha lake, with an island with 2 greens in the middle.

Course 1

This is a par 4 course of 356 m. The first landing area is flanked by two bunkers. In the green area there’s another bunker on the right and an out of bounds area (the fence that marks the land), which makes this route difficult to negotiate.

Shortie

Course 2

This is the first par 3 course on the field. The green is large, being bordered on the right by a bunker, and on the back of the green by the out of bounds area. If the flag is positioned on the right side of the bunker, the difficulty of the path increases exponentially.

Club House

Course 3

This is a 405 m long par 4 dogleg, curving to the left. You will have a bunker on the right at the first shot and two more at the end of the course. Its length and shape make it challenging even for experienced players.

Hidden Gem

Course 4

The first par 5 on the field has a total length of 470 meters. At the first shot you will have the lake on the left side. On the second shot you can choose to attack the green either over the hill in front or on the designated route. The bunker in front of the green becomes a new challenge if you choose to play over the hill.

The Gap

Course 5

The course is a par 4 with a medium length, the element of surprise is the green on the peninsula, surrounded by water. The tee is up-high and offers you two options to negotiate: at risk (over the lake) or safe (on the direction of play).

Hard right

Course 6

This is a long par 5. The first landing area is narrow and is followed by a dogleg to the right with bunkers on the right. The next shot takes you into a generous landing area, and then you reach the generous green with a bunker in the back.

River Side

Course 7

It is bordered on the right by the Mureș River, along its entire length, and the fairway is curved to the right. The first landing area is quite generous, but you have to choose very well the way to the green. The approach shot is difficult and decisive - the ball can come out very easily in the rough or it can reach the river.

Course 8

This is an easy par 3, a precise shot can bring you a good result. There is a bunker on the right side of the green.

The Island

Course 9

It is a difficult par 4 given the fact that the green is a double green and it is situated on an island, which makes the shot a difficult one. The green is defended on the right side by a bunker and on the left side by the water, which requests for an extremely precise shot to obtain a good result. From the first landing area there are approximately 120 meters to the center of the green, but the ball needs to go over the water.

The Edge

Course 10

It is a short par 3, with the green next to the lake and a bunker behind it. If the hole is positioned on the right side of the green, you will need to make a very precise shot over the surface of the lake.

The waterfall

Course 11

This is a par 4 with an considerable length, but with a generous fairway. The first shot is easy, but the approach shot is difficult and requires precision to be able to place the ball on the green area. On the right side of the green there is a bunker. The surface of the green is generous and fairly flat, but it is bordered by a small stream.

The narrow escape

Course 12

This is a rather difficult par 4 with a narrow fairway. There is a bunker near the first landing area, and two more are located next to the green. The Mureş River also flows along it.

Course 13

This is a difficult par 4, with bunkers both in the first landing area and in the approach area. The green is generous and flat, but is bordered by a valley with trees.

Course 14

It is a short par 3 with an exceptional view. To get a good result, you need to execute a very precise shot - the green is narrow and has a large bunker in front. If you send the ball over the green, the course is sloping and the approach shot will be difficult.

The Dunes

Course 15

It is a long and difficult par 5, with a wavy fairway. A bunker is located to the right of the first landing area. The second landing area is very narrow and is bordered by 3 bunkers on the left. You will need precision to negotiate the green, especially since the Mureș River flows on its right.

The valley

Course 16

This is a gorgeous par 4, which gives you two options. To the left of the course are two bunkers. A hill in the middle of the fairway visually covers the green, which consists of two steps. Your first option is next to the bunkers, the second is over the hill. If the flag is to the right of the green, it will not be visible from the tee and will trouble you when you decide how to negotiate the course.

The sandy Bay

Course 17

It is a short par 4, offering you the possibility of achieving a good result in case of a direct hit on the green surface. In the center of the fairway there is a bunker which allows you to attack the green from two positions, either on the left side of the Mureş River or on the right side of the fairway. In case of a strong shot, you will be able to attack the green with the first ball, but in order to make this shot you will have to cross a bunker in front of the green. On the left side of the green is the Mureş River, and on the right side and behind the green there is a level variance which makes it difficult to place the ball on the surface of the green.

The long way home

Course 18

Course 18 is the first par 6 in Romania and the second longest course in Europe, with a length of 735m. In order to get a decent result, you will need at least 4 good shots to be able to reach the green. The green is large and is located on the central island. It is a double green. In front of the green there is a deep bunker that makes it difficult to attack with the third shot. The first shot is difficult because the landing area is quite narrow and will require great precision. The second shot is a lighter one because the fairway opens making it easier to play. The third blow is difficult because there is a beach bunker in the landing area (it creates the illusion of a sandy beach that appears from the water). And the fourth blow is a spectacular one over the lake. All these shots concluding on the green on the island, where the putt shot can be observed from the terrace of the restaurant.
